Public/Private Cloud Services

 

Found a cool Video about the Amazon DynomoDB Cloud Service.

It's really amazing how amazon rocks the web with it's cloud services.

 Oracle offers with Oracle Coherence also an in-memory data grid solution to manage data in a highly scalable manner way.



Public/Private Cloud Services will dominate the future. Operational costs have to be reduced and the complexity of the software and hardware stack can only be managed by the datacenters owners in using more and more full featured vendor appliances.

The future datacenters will be in fact orchestrators of different vendor appliances for creating private enterprise clouds. Public enterprise clouds will be offerd by the vendors itslef.

The Oracle Public Cloud is another new upcoming star in the cloud universe... ;o)

The future will be interesting.

iPad post-PC future

Found an critical point of view regarding the new released iPad on TechCrunch http://techcrunch.com/2012/03/08/yesterdays-ipad-event-was-only-half-the-story/

Yes, it's right apple stepped with the iPad in to the post-PC future. But in fact this currently affects only the private sector what about the business customers, are there / will there be any business customer stories where the usage of the iPad could replace the classic Personal Computer? What do you think?
